In Barrio Logan area on east side of the 5 freeway. A small, quaint restaurant just minutes off the highway. Friend was in area and asked about meeting for breakfast so thought we would give it a try. Restaurant was just opening up at 10:45am and waited for them to "set up". I ordered the red chilaquiles with sunny side up eggs. I love how they cooked my eggs like I do with a crunchy white perimeter. My friend ordered chorizo and both plates come with rice and yummy beans. We sat outside as it was a nice morning. Very nice ladies who work at the restaurant. We were able to both park in front of the restaurant. Don't come here expecting frills as it is an older building in a residential area. It's a good authentic home cooked meal with great options for all wanting Mexican food.
Always come here to get some real comfort food. This is spot is authentic. Alicia is always so welcoming and friendly. Can't ever decide what to get because EVERYTHING is so good. This time around I got a vegetarian torta ( torta with no meat and add refried beans) And of course the pozole that I couldn't get a good picture of because I was too hungry
Really good and delicious authentic Mexican food, very worth the trip to visit this small well clean restaurant . We had very great service, very relaxing and nice ambiance inside restaurant. definitely recommend.

It could be difficult to find parking, but it's worth it bc the food it's so tasty and they have variety of dishes from their menu. Delicious home made Mexican food, it literally feels like you're visiting your grandma's home.
Very nice place. No dedicated parking so you may have to drive/walk a bit. The lady working today didn't speak English so she called her daughter who gave me some good suggestions for what to order. I ordered the Huraches with beef and the Sopes with chorizo. Delicious !! Yes, I ate it all (no dinner for me tonight). Thank you to the cooks and for so the advice on what to get!
